COPEHAGEN, 22nd February, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, visited Rosenborg Castle in Denmark on Wednesday as part of his official visit to the country.
Upon his arrival at the castle, the UAE Foreign Minister was received by Manager of Rosenborg Castle Museum.
While touring the castle, Sheikh Abdullah was briefed on the castle, one of the key landmarks featuring Denmark’s history. It also depicts the era of King Christian IV, who founded the stock market and the city of Copenhagen.
The castle’s museum houses the ornaments and jewels of the royal family. It also showcases several drawings and paintings.
At the conclusion of the tour, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his happiness over his visit to the historic landmark, which reflects the culture and history of Denmark.
The UAE Foreign Minister was accompanied during the tour by Fatima Khamis Salem Khalfan Al Mazrouei, the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark WAM/Majok
