GOIC to organise training course on green industries in April

DOHA, 26th February, 2017 (WAM) -- The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting, GOIC, is to hold a training course entitled "Green Industries" in April in Doha, under the patronage of Qatar's Ministry of Municipality and Environment, on clean industrial technologies and controlling pollution.
The training is part of GOIC’s 2017 Training and Capacity Development Programme that includes a number of courses aimed at developing industrial staff’s skills and helping them keep up with the latest developments in the sector.
According to GOIC, the course also aims to introduce strategies adopted by industries throughout the world to limit pollution. It will shed light on clean industrial technologies that reduce pollution and diminish its harmful effects.
Participants will understand how to develop production methods, factory operation procedures and how to reduce the risk of industrial waste on the environment, in addition to manufacturing the latest products based on green industry technologies and success stories in the field of green industries.
The training is developed for the staff of ministries of energy and industry in the GCC, organisations and authorities operating in the fields of energy, industry, environment and industrial cities throughout the bloc and chambers of commerce, in addition to representatives of the industrial private sector and industrial companies.
The GOIC is a Doha-based regional organisation that brings together the UAE, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Yemen.
