DUBAI, 3rd April, 2017 (WAM) -- The National Media Council, NMC, today organised a workshop to introduce its smart services to the public at the 5th Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition, DIGAE 2017.
The workshop seeks to highlight the Council’s role in supporting the national media industry and keeping it up to date with the developments that have taken place in recent years.
Hosted by NMC’s Director of Media Content, Naser Al Tamimi, the workshop introduced the smart electronic portal that the Council is developing in a bid to improve its services.
"The National Media Council is working to develop the local media sector to keep up with the sweeping reforms and renaissance taking place across all sectors in the UAE," Al Tamimi said.
"With that in mind, we are constantly upgrading our services and working to bolster our partnerships with other stakeholders in the sector. We are keen on reflecting the best possible image of the UAE, and highlight its achievements in both local and international media outlets."
"The Council is committed to making its customers happy and to employ any means necessary to ensure a seamless service. We are working to make sure customers have access to all the information they need about our services, as well as to multiple channels to apply for them – including the electronic portal," Al Tamimi concluded.
