Kuwait announces 887 new COVID-19 cases, 6 more deaths

KUWAIT, 2nd June, 2020 (WAM) -- Kuwait on Tuesday reported 887 new coronavirus, COVID-19, infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of infections to 28,649, while six more deaths were reported, bringing the total fatalities' toll up to 226. Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad was quoted by Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, as saying that 3,325 swab tests were conducted in past 24 hours with the total figure of these examinations reaching 300,351.

Oman announces 576 new COVID-19 cases

MUSCAT, 2nd June, 2020 (WAM) -- Oman's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday 576 new coronavirus cases, including 209 Omanis and 367 residents, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Sultanate to 12,800. The Oman News Agency, ONA, quoted the ministry as saying that the country had also registered 59 deaths as a result of the virus. The ministry also pointed out that 2,812 patients had recovered from the virus.
