Khalifa holds talks with Qatari Crown Prince Abu Dhabi, Jun. 13, 2004 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received here today at his palace Qatari Crown Prince, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. During the meeting, Sheikh Khalifa, who warmly welcomed Sheikh Tamim, praised the unique fraternal ties between the two countries. They reviewed fraternal relations between the UAE and Qatar and ways to further boost them in all areas for their mutual interest. They shared ideas on a number of issues of mutual interest. Sheikh Khalifa conferred on Sheikh Tamim the Zayed Order, in recognition of the excellent relations between the two countries and Sheikh Tamim's significant role in boosting these ties. Later, Sheikh Khalifa held a luncheon in honour of his guest and his entourage. In attendance at both the meeting and the luncheon were Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, who is also the Head of the Honorary Mission accompanying the Qatari Crown Prince, Saeed Mohammed Al Kindi, Speaker of the Federal National Council, a number of sheikhs, senior officials, Abdul Reda Abdullah Al Khoory, UAE ambassador to Qatar and Abdullah bin Mohammed Alothman, Qatari Ambassador.
