IIMSAM appoints Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim as its Goodwill ambassador at UN
New York, Dec 16th, 2008 (WAM): To realize its ambition of a world free of malnutrition and hunger by mainstreaming the use of Spirulina, the Intergovernmental Institution for the Use of Micro-algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition (IIMSAM) appointed UAE citizen Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim as its Goodwill Ambassador in support of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
A delegation of IIMSAM under the leadership of the Director General Ambassador Remigio M. Maradona along with Dr.Al Fahim shall visit the countries shortly to actuate the very initiatives that would utilize Spirulina to save innumerable lives lost to malnutrition and counter various deprivations associated with it.
Mr. Remigio M. Maradona while congratulating Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim stated 'I am most delighted to have the participation of Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim in our mandate to eradicate malnutrition and achieve the United Nations Millennium Development Goals'.
