SHARJAH, 23rd February, 2016 (WAM) -- Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SCCI, has confirmed that the strong and solid relations between the UAE and the Republic of India, dating back hundreds of years, have formed a solid foundation on which to build many areas of cooperation partnerships, and contributed to seeing an exemplary relationship extended to several sectors.

Al Owais said that these factors have made India one of the most prominent economic partners of the UAE. He said that the participation of manpower and expertise has contributed positively to the overall development of the country and is considered another addition to the level of the distinctive economic relations between the two countries.

This came during a lunch hosted by the SCCI at its headquarters in honour of a high-ranking economic delegation headed by R. K.
