ABU DHABI, 20th March (WAM) -- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has valued the donation of businessmen and company owners to the Sandooq Al Watan (The National Fund), assuring that the UAE is full of loyal and dedicated examples among them, who have a great sense of national responsibility.
This came during His Highness’s commentary, after a speech made by Mohamed Al Abbar, Member of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan, in front of attendees at His Highness’s Majlis in Qasr Al Bahr, where he presented a brief about the goals of the fund that was launched as a personal initiative by a group of businessmen, to support the development of national youth, and for preparing and training the nation’s children to face future challenges.
His Highness expressed his pride at the stance of traders, businessmen and company owners who donated to the fund. "I saw the brothers donating to the fund and was happy with their unexpected initiative, and I thank them for this," His Highness said.

I am confident that among us today, there are patriotic examples of businessmen who only need to understand the feelings of the dedicated ones among them, to donate to the Sandooq Al Watan, which does not ask for unreasonable or large amounts, but encourages others for just one percent of the returns of their trade, to set an example for their children and the rest of the members of the community."
"We Arabs as part of our tradition buy the worthy horse, and in this context, we mean the generous, brave and chivalrous Emirati human, who stands, initiates and sacrifices the expensive and precious for his country," His Highness said, adding that the money collected by the fund would be spent on the children of the country and in preparing the youth of the UAE to acquire knowledge, including scientific knowledge, and the necessary qualifications to face the challenges of the future.
