DUBAI, 2nd April, 2017 (WAM) -- Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Interior, has stressed that the ministry is working to achieve the vision of the leadership, in a bid to make customers happy, along with the monitoring by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, of services provided by the ministry to assure that they are the finest internationally, and to continually develop and keep pace with innovative and creative ideas to maintain its international pioneering to achieve the goals of UAE Vision 2021.
Al Sha’far said in his statement today during his visit to the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition, hosted by the Dubai World Trade Centre, the ministry desires to develop and use the latest smart applications to improve the happiness of customers and elevate the service levels provided to them. He highlighted that the exhibition offers an important platform for the Ministry of Interior to demonstrate its latest projects and its intelligent and ambitious initiatives to provide high quality services, according to the best standards.
He also expressed his satisfaction regarding the attendance by the public and their interactions with the ministry’s demonstration platform, considered unique internationally. He stressed the desire to promote ways of exchanging the best expertise and discuss innovations in government services, as well as spreading knowledge about smart governance for its services, and maintaining a competitive world-class standard to predict the future.
Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Head of the Customer Happiness Department and General Supervisor of the ministry’s platform at the exhibition, clarified that its participation comes in carrying out the directives of the police leadership and an embodiment of the UAE Vision 2021, to shed light on the most important world-class developmental and creative projects.
He added that the system of managing customer visits demonstrates an important electronic system to keep pace with the performance of Customer Happiness Centres, and it immediately measures the productivity of frontline ministry employees through the central supervision room at the ministry’s Customer Happiness Department.
The ministry’s pavilions include the Electronic Ports Project for facilitating travel procedures, which is considered a pioneering project in the UAE and unique among Arab countries.
