ABU DHABI, 20th April, 2017 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in which he expressed his sincere condolences on the martyrdom of a number of officers and non-commissioned officers of the Saudi Armed Forces while performing their national duty as part of coalition forces supporting the legitimacy in Yemen. The officers lost their lives on Tuesday when a military helicopter they were in crashed in the Marib Province, east of the capital, Sanaa.
His Highness also asked Allah Almighty to rest their souls in peace and bestow solace and patience on their families.
Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar cables of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
