ABU DHABI, 9th November, 2017 (WAM) -- The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has organised a diverse programme of cultural, artistic and educational activities at Al Qattara Arts Centre.

The series of events are being presented in partnership with the fourth edition of the Traditional Handicrafts Festival, currently underway under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Al Ain Region.

The array of activities includes a series of artistic and cultural workshops aimed at families and tourists, and will be hosted over two morning and evening sessions. These include the "Al Qattara Heritage Studio", allowing visitors to take pictures of traditional Emirati clothing made using traditional materials, and the "Angham Al Oud" workshop, hosted by the centre's artists to teach participants about the traditional music of UAE's most famous local songs.
