ABU DHABI, 14th November, 2017 (WAM) -- Local, regional and international forensic experts and researchers gathered in Abu Dhabi today to explore the future of forensic science, crime scene investigation, forensic DNA in the GCC and next generation sequencing (NGS).
The conference will offer a unique 360 degree viewpoint of the entire forensics industry; whether in laboratory equipment, scene of crime, and digital investigation or forensic pathology.
Fully supported by Abu Dhabi Police and held under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the three-day GCC Forensic Science Conference & Exhibition 2017 attracts more than 350 participants from police, law enforcement and intelligence agencies to share experiences and discuss cyber Security and digital forensics- crime and trends in digital forensics Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police Major General Mohammed Al Rumaithi opened the conference.
The GCC DNA symposium will be held as part of the event activities.
