Yemeni National Army advances in Saada

RIYADH, 7th December, 2017 (WAM) -- The Yemeni National Army has managed, over the past few hours, to make further advances in Saada supported by the Arab Coalition Air Force and captured leading positions in Al Boqaa through its brigades 'Border Guards' and 'Al Fatah', according to an official source at the Saudi-led Coalition for the Restoration of the Legitimacy in Yemen.

The development comes in continuation of the field victories being achieved by the Arab Coalition-backed Yemeni National Army, added the source, explaining that the Iran-backed Houthi militias have been expelled from a number of strategic positions, including Tiba Al Ism Camp, and the Yemeni army has secured Al Boqaa - Al Yatma Road.

The recent successful military operations resulted in eight killings and capturing 15 elements from the militias while seizing different heavy, medium and light ammunition, including land mines, communication devices and military documents, the source noted.
