ABU DHABI, 28th January, 2018 (WAM) -- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is mourning the death of Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, the mother of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away today.

A statement issued by the Crown Prince's Court this morning said, "Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is mourning the death of Sheikha Hessa, who passed away today. May Allah rest her soul in peace."

The Crown Prince’s Court will be marking the official 3-day mourning period, flying the flag at half mast.
