ABU DHABI, 7th February, 2018 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, on Wednesday attended a ceremony organised by the Abu Dhabi Police College on the graduation of the 28th batch of cadets, 28th university graduates, 12th batch of female university graduates, and the master’s degree holders at the College.
The ceremony, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, was attended H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, and H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
Sheikh Saif emphasised that the UAE will always be an oasis of security and stability thanks to the support of its wise leadership that is behind all the achievements.
In his remarks on the occasion, Sheikh Saif said that the achievements of the country are a natural result of the attention and care given by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates.
He also pointed out that the graduation of this batch coincides with the Year of Zayed and adds a double value to the occasion as they benefit from the values of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan while discharging their missions professionally and with loyalty.
The number of male and female graduates was 277. Out of this, 161 were male cadets, 83 were male university students, and ten were female university students. Eleven of the male cadets were from six other Arab countries.
