ABU DHABI, 15th February, 2018 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Police is continuing the smart transformation of the technical procedures of the Forensic Evidence Management Administration, which is part of its Security and Ports Affairs Sector, with monitoring by Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director of the Security and Ports Affairs Sector, and as part of its efforts to improve its project development process and promote paperless management, in line with smart government requirements.
Brigadier Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, Director of the Forensic Evidence Management Administration, stated that their systems focus on electronic development and benefitting from comprehensive international technologies, with the aim of improving their performance according to advanced standards.
He stressed that the administration has linked its technical devices to their electronic management system, as well as the procedures followed by their staff, who were trained on its use. The main purpose of adopting the system is to achieve the ideal use of forensic evidence and the highest levels of quality in terms of the administration’s technical and administrative performance, as well as to work accurately as fast as possible, he added.
Al Hammadi affirmed that the administration now provides many services remotely to benefit users, and its officer and recruits with the opportunity to benefit from advanced technologies, through communicating with the administration and providing rapid services.
The system has proved to be successful in providing outstanding services that satisfy users, and it also showcased the efficiency and productivity of the administration’s correspondence entry officers and coordinators while maintaining confidentiality, he concluded.
