The aim of the celebration was to highlight the role of Sheikh Zayed in founding the nation and its urban development, as well as the achievements he made at the local, regional and global levels. It stressed that the principles and values he held had formed the solid base on which the UAE was built. The event has shown the love and passion of the UAE’s citizens towards Sheikh Zayed, who proved to be one of the best leaders worldwide and promoted his standing as an icon of patriotism and passion to the nation through memorising his legacy in projects and future initiatives compatible with his vision and values.

These events contribute to embedding the culture of reading among youngsters and encouraging them to utilise their time in activities, which benefit them and their community, and adopt them as a cultural and intellectual pattern. The Municipality will continue holding these events regularly in a bid to foster cultural and social values among community members.
