ABU DHABI, 29th April, 2018 (WAM) -- AmCham Abu Dhabi has announced that it made a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in support of their ongoing efforts to bring comfort and hope to children with life-threatening medical conditions. The donated funds were raised at the 8th Annual AmCham Abu Dhabi Excellence Awards and 18th Annual Charity Gala.
The delegation from AmCham Abu Dhabi included Sharief Fahmy, Chairman, Theresa F. Weber, Executive Director and event sponsors represented by Bryan Walrath, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Donald M. Wix Jr., Lockheed Martin Global Inc. and Shahzad Zafar, Raytheon Emirates Ltd. They were welcomed at Make-A-Wish Foundation, by Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO, Nour Al Qasimi, Board Member, Mary Corrado, Chair of the Advisory Council, John McGowan, Legal Advisor and Hassan Nasr Osman, Administrative Affairs Manager.
"We are proud to see the influence that the Make-A-Wish Foundation has had in making dreams come true for over 2800 children in the UAE and in the region. As we celebrate the 2018 Year of Zayed, AmCham Abu Dhabi stands committed to supporting future wishes and is proud of the growing relationship we have with the organization," said AmCham Abu Dhabi Chairman, Sharief Fahmy.
