ABU DHABI, 20th December, 2018 (WAM) -- The Arab Youth Centre will organise the 'Arab Youth Festival' in Kuwait, in cooperation with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs of Kuwait and with the support of the UAE Embassy.
The festival, which will take place at the Murouj complex in Kuwait from 25th to 31st December, 2018, is an innovative forum for Arab youth and will involve various activities and events, including interactive performances, seminars, lectures, youth discussions and artistic performances.
Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, said that the youth are the cornerstone of development in Arab countries, and the festival is one of the centre’s leading projects, which aims to enrich the knowledge and expertise of the largest segment of Arab communities.
"We are happy to cooperate with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs of Kuwait in this initiative, which will provide us with an ideal platform for reinforcing the direct interaction between the youth in Kuwait and exploring their talents and interests," she added.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, launched the centre during the 'World Government Summit' in 2017.
The centre aims to launch youth-led initiatives, to enable them to contribute to national efforts and achieve sustainable development. The centre is achieving its vision through an annual agenda for Arab youth, and publishing annual reports and studies, as well as organising forums and events for Arab youth around the world.
