Palestine records three COVID-19 deaths, 123 infections

RAMALLAH, 13th June, 2021 (WAM) -- Palestine's Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said today that 123 new cases of COVID-19, three deaths and 378 recoveries were registered in Palestine during the past 24 hours. Alkaila pointed out that the recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 97.7 percent, while active cases declined to 1.2 percent, according to Palestine News & Info Agency (WAFA). Deaths stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

Russia's new COVID-19 cases rise to highest since February 13

MOSCOW, 13th June, 2021 (WAM/Reuters) -- Russia on Sunday reported 14,723 new COVID-19 cases, including 7,704 in Moscow, the largest one-day national caseload since 13th February. The coronavirus task force said on Sunday that 357 people had died of coronavirus-related causes nationwide, taking the death toll to 126,430.  

Worldwide coronavirus cases cross 175.7 million

ABU DHABI, 13th June, 2021 (WAM) -- More than 175.7 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 3,795,000 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Sunday. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
