ABU DHABI, 15th February, 2018 (WAM) -- Mohammed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, this morning received General Norton Schwartz, retired US Air Force general and President & CEO of the Business Executives for National Security, to discuss ways of bolstering UAE-US cooperation in the defence field.
Al Bowardi welcomed Schwartz's visit and the two officials discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them to serve the interests of both countries and peoples.
The meeting also touched on areas of UAE-US coordination and cooperation in a number of fields and tackled the latest developments in the region and issues of common concern.
Matar Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, a number of senior officers and ministry officials attended the meeting.
