ABU DHABI, 13th October 2022 (WAM) -- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended yesterday evening the reception hosted by Iñigo de Palacio España, Ambassador of Spain to the UAE, on the occasion of his country's National Day.

The ceremony, which was held at the Emirates Palace Hotel, was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Mohammed Hilal Al Shehhi, Director of European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a number of officials and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the country, as well as members of the Spanish Community in the UAE.

In a speech on this occasion, the Spanish Ambassador commended the bilateral relations between the UAE and Spain, praising the visionary policies of the UAE.

He also stressed his country's constant endeavours to develop relations with the UAE across various sectors.
